I missed publishing articles ! But well, we don't always do what we want in life ! Anyway, I'm finally back with an article with mixed feelings about the e-shop Réserve Naturelle. (It does ship worldwide*). Don't hesitate to let me know your impressions !

The website Réserve Naturelle suggestes some make-up, accessories, skin cares, perfumes, with very cheap prices !
* You can order from France, Corsica, Dom-Tom, European Union, USA and Canada.
The reason why I went on this e-shop is because I had heard about their eye-shadows palette Light Colors, (on which I will write an article, because there are some things to know about this palette ...).

It is a palette with nudes colors or browns.
Some people compare it to the Naked 2 of Urban Decay, judging that the Light Colors is almost its perfect dupe(1).
However, the prices are totally different ! The Naked 2 is sold 54$ by the brand.
The Light Colors on the other hand costs only 14,95€ (about $ 20.46) !
The colors are very beautiful, I only regret the lack of mattes shadows for the crease.
(1) The term "dupe" is now used by the blogosphere and other adepts to refer to a product that can replace another or can be a substitue to it. The palette Light Colors would be the "dupe" of the Naked 2 meaning tha "one could mistake one for the other".
Once on the website, I saw that the shipping costs are offered starting from 25€, (around $34), and since the palette's and shipping costs's price was around 20€, I took advantage of it to buy some more !
I needed a nailpolishe's base coat, and I chose the Base Protectrice pour les ongles (Protective Base for the nails) which costs 4,50€, ($6).

Description :
Its transparent formula made from vitamin E and wheat germ oil was specially conceived in order to take care of nails and be a barrier against the colored nail polishes's pigments that stain and turn yellow nails. Result : the nails are protected and the nail polish's lasts longer.

I also bought three accessories : a powder puff for blush, a double headband and finally a pelican hair grip.

Okay, for the headband, I don't have a lot to say, (except that taking a nice picture of this stuff is almost impossible !).
The elasticity is okay, and having a strip bigger and flatter than the other is really useful : the biggest keeps most of the hair and the smaller keeps in place the little wild hair.

There is still better, but well, at 0,90€, ($1), I didn't expect a better quality.

Concerning the houppette à poudre, (powder puff), I was disappointed - not to say simply disgusted - to be informed ONLY after receiving it that it was made in China, (the letters « PRC » mean "People's Republic of China"). Because, yes,, NOTHING is mentionned on the website ...
I suppose that the term « houppette » written with only one « p » is enough to make one doubt about the specifications that the chinese company is supposed to follow ...

Another thing that has really bothered me, is the dirt that I found IN the case. There were some kinf of "dead layers of skin", of residue of I-do-not-want-to-know-what, (how glamour it is, isn't it ?), within the "protective" case. It is the very first time in all the orders I made on the internet that such a thing occurs.
On top of the case, okay, I would have understood, either the carton box or something else would have dirtied it, but here, thinking that the product has been wrapped and shipped in this state, leaves me septical.
So, okay, 2,95€, ($4), but there are some limits ... Price doesn't excuse everything.

About the Pince Pélican en métal argenté, (Pelican Hair Grip in silver metal) ($2,67), as one could expect it, you feel that it's fragile, the part below moves and where there is the spring it's also fragile ... But well, for the price, I won't complain, and it's still useful the time it does last.
The problem is that the lower part is too short, and so, when you have a lot of hair like me, it does not keeps all the hair together. I can't use only this, so I only use it to keep up just some hair that are loose.
However, there are still some positive points with this website, like the goodies, (well, okay, to make us buy some more, but it's still cool, and how many other sites don't do it ?).
The presents change quite often, but when I ordered, there was a bracelet offered for any order, (no matter the price), and then, from only $20 spent, we had a crayon Metallic waterproof,(eye pencil), and when I ordered it was only the Rose one. If I remember correctly, from 40€, ($55), it was a vanity case with flower print.

The bracelet is cute, even if it's not really my style, but it's still a cute thought. It's cool for the summer, 'cause very bright.

The eye pencil on the ohter hand, I'm really glad to get to try it ! The color is really pretty : a light pink almost looking like a "old pink", (a light purple pink), with its metallic aspect. Perfect put as a touch of light on the bottom waterline or for the inner V.
You can also use it as a liner with a light make up.
My opinion/thought on the website Réserve Naturelle :
If the prices are really attractive and their marketing strategy smart with their goodies quickly available, I'm still looking for a bit of quality not only for the product itself, but also for the company's skills. Yet, my expectations were not satisfied for most of them.
- Quality of the make up products rather good.
If the quality isn't the best one, it is still really great, specially for the price. The eye shadows are great, (read my about-to-come review on it, about the good and bad aspects of it), and the eye pencil, if I haven't tested it yet, has a great pigmentation, (I still have to know how it lasts).

- None of the product's composition presents on the website :
There is one thing that displeased me and had me be suspicious right away once on the website : not a single way to find the products' composition. Some of the descriptions put under the light two or three ingredients but that's it. I tried everything, even the search on Google : not one composition. It's already in my opinion a proof that the brand has something to hide.
It's even more bothersome if one's allerfic to an ingredient. For example, I wanted to offer to my mom the Huile Radieuse Dentelle Précieuse, (Radious Oil Precious Lace), but my mom is allergic to metals, and since the description talks about "golden and coppered reflections", I was afraid that the product may contain some, so I didn't buy it. Yet,I would have had to be able to have access to the composition , it's the basics !

- The fact that some products are made in China is hidden :
If the website boasts about having products made in France or Italy, others are made in China, and weirdly, it is not mentionned on the website, as it is for the ones coming from France or Italy ...
The reason why it angers me so much is because, in my opinion, a client has the right to know exactly what (s)he buys. Personally, I avoid products from China for three reasons :
- because of all the problems caused by the products a lot cheaper but a lot more dangerous that they use,
- because I'm against that exploitation that I find shameful,
- because I like to participate as much as I can to the French production.
- Lack of hygiene in the products sent :
I'd like to be explained how my powder puff ended up being that dirty. Let's admit that it's very unpleasant, knowing that you pay the order's preparation in the shipping costs.

- Misleading the customer by choosing the name Réserve Naturelle, (wildlife reserve), ... when nothing is natural in the products.
Okay so this is a but "on top of the rest", but personally, I don't like that a company plays with the customer by surfing on the "organic", "home made" and "natural" trend with the chosen name, when there is no eco-friendly, organic or even natural ethic from the brand for its products.
Hiding the compositions, (by the way, is that really a legal thing ?), it's the proof that it has nothing of really beneficial for the brand. The packaging made of carton, it is certainly not an eco-friendly decision, but certainly because it's cheaper, (which is great, I don't deny it, I'm just saying that it is for this reason, and not because they care about the planet). The production has nothing to do with a "reserve" and so protective attempt, since some products are made in China, once again to make cheaper prices.
To sum it up, with the name "Réserve Naturelle", I get the feeling that they play me dumb more than anything else ... That they try to seduce, just to get me to open my wallet. There are brands like Bourjois, L'Oréal, M.A.C and so many others, that work really well, and that have nothing of natural in their products, however even so, they don't lie, don't try to trick you, they don't appear as eco-friendly. They just have their products and meet a success without trying to benefit from the trend of natural and organic. (Which doesn't mean that they don't have their own marketing strategies, but maybe not that obvious.)
In the end, there are low chances that I order again on this website, or just a few things and while being really careful. But even if some products like their blush crème,(cream blushes), attract me, I don't really want to give money to a company that I don't find very ethical and sure.
