Haul/Review Translucent mosaic powder - AVÈNE and Beauty Oil Organic Mush Rose - HERBES ET TRADITIONS

Hello loves ! How are you ? I'm back in this sunny day, (at least while I'm writing this article ... who knows if it will last !), to present you a matifying powder and a musk rose oil.

○ Translucent Mosaic Powder (Poudre Mosaïque Translucide) - Avène :

          This powder is supposed to matify, unify the skin tone and fix the make up. It exists in three shades : Translucent, Natural Glow and Bronzer. I paid it 12,95€, (around 17,34 USD), at the pharmacy Prado-Mermoz, (244, avenue du Prado, 13008, Marseille).
          Avène also presents its Mosaic Powders as being able to "sculpt the make up", (which means, to use as a bronzer for contouring). In order to do so, the pale skin tones will use the medium shade (Natural Glow), and the tan skins the darkest shade, (Bronzer). In their instructions to use to sculpt the face, they also say to use it as a blush.
          Since I use the shade Translucent, I won't be able to make a review about its result as a bronzer/blush, sorry. However, here's the review about the matifying action :

          The powder Translucent, once all the colors mixed together, is colorless. Well, to be 100% honest, it will get your make up a little white, (still, you don't look like a ghost because of it, don't worry). In any case, you have to put your blush afterwards, so it's ok, since it will give you some colors !
          About the effectiveness, I'm still a bit sceptical. It does matify, (it better !), but is it part of the most matifying ones ? Good question. I've got some difficulties trying to figure out the needed amount to use, I think you have to be quite generous with the quantity to obtain a great result when you have a really oily skin. (But well, I'm far from being the queen of the matifying powders, sooo ...). I think that you need to add some more during the day, but this being said, it is a very satisfying powder. It is really nice to be able to avoid the disco ball look. The powder has at least the good point of limiting the damages, maybe, if I had the occasion to put some more powder during the day, I would have a perfect result. But well, we'd like it if once was enough, right ? However, once again, if the result is not absolutely perfect, it still is satisfying.

          What I truly appreciate is that the powder is fragrance-free and preservative-free, with a very clean compo', (be careful, a "clean composition" does not mean that the product is "natural" and of course does not correspond to an organic product). I verified the ingredients on the service of research INCI from the website La Vérité sur les Cosmétiques et voici ce que cela donne :

          In other words, a compo' really, really clean, and that makes me happy !

          About the packaging, the little powder compact is really cute, and the big mirror very useful. But as we can see on the image, the circumference delimiting the powder is "unstuck" at some places, it is not totally stuck to the powder compact, so I hope it won't fall out. Well, if it is the case, I'll make sure to keep the powder compact flat, but carrying it won't be possible, so let's hope it does stay !

○ Beauty Oil, Organic Musk Rose - Herbes et Traditions

          I had already presented the mush rose in this article, (except that it was another brand), and I really get into the details to present you all its good benefits in particular on the stretch marks. By the way, there are also great things to know about the stretch marks, so I won't developpe them in this haul. However, since the article is in French, would you like for me to translate it ? Let me know ! ;)


          This beauty oil, it's my mom who bought it for me at Arom'Od'Or (23, rue Bussy l'Indien, 13006 Marseille, you can contact the shop at +33 (0)9 83 21 84 98). The oil costs 17,80€ the 50ml, which is the price on the website, (around 23,80 USD). The oil has is certified organic with the certificate Cosmebio and Ecocert, 100% of the ingredients are from natural origins and 99,9% are organic.

          I really like the bottle, I think it's cute, however I personally had a defective pump that did not let the product out. Well, it's not that big of a deal since I can just open the bottle to get the oil. Before I used the pump's plastic shaft to put the oil on my skin, but I must have an unsuspected herculean strenght because I was able to break it. (Which explains that you only see a little part of the pump in the bottle).

          Putting aside this little problem, I'm very happy with that oil, because it is a multitasks oil. I use it on my stretch marks, but I also used it in order to repair my skin, on my body and on my face as well :
          Concerning the face, I had a really dry skin, it was peeling, totally dehydrated, and to nourish it, I added some oil's drops to my day cream.
          I also had some eczema on my leg : my skin was like burnt, dry. After using cortisone to calm it, I repaired my skin once again by adding some drops to my Aderma emollient cream.
          In both cases, it really helped me. On my face, I could feel that my skin was back to being soft, nourished, that it was thanking me to sum it up. Same for the skin on my leg, it really helped me to make my patch disappear and to get back a normal skin.

          It's truly the kind of useful plant oils and always welcomed to repair the skin cells deeper than a cream would, (an oil penetrates the skin, when creams don't).

          About the shop, if I did not have the pleasure to get there, my mom told me that the saleswoman is very capable, always full of good advices and that she has a lot of choice of organic products, so if you ever get to pass by, don't hesitate to go there !
