Last Thursday was Thanksgiving. So in this Monday, I decided to keep the idea going on by presenting someone who really deserves to be thanked : Sir Nicholas Winton.
Prepare the tissues, personally, I cried like I used to when I was a kid !

Isn't he so handsome ?!
"Sir Nicholas George Winton, MBE (born Nicholas Wertheim, 19 May 1909) is a British humanitarian who organised the rescue of 669, mostly Jewish, children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia on the eve of the Second World War, in an operation later known as the Czech Kindertransport. Winton found homes for the children and arranged for their safe passage to Britain. The British press has dubbed him the "British Schindler*". On 28 October 2014 he was awarded the highest honour of the Czech Republic, the Order of the White Lion, by Czech President Miloš Zeman."

Here's the video presents on the site Démotivateur.fr, (a French website but the video's in English). However, it is not the long version of the show, just a short part.
Here you'll find a complete video.
I don't think that this great sir is well known in France, but I believe he is quite known in the USA and in the UK, am I right ? But anyway, I decided to talk about him on the blog, since beside from beauty and fashion, I also want it to be a place of exchange and sharing. At all levels.
Sir Nicholas Winton is an example and his story should be more shared, in my opinion. I was really moved discovering who he is, (and on top of that he is so adorable !!! ♥), and with Christmas period, everything seems softer, and it's a bit the time when we get faith in humanity once again.
So I hope that in this start of the week, you have also received a bit of softness and beauty.
I hope that you will have liked this article and that it would have allowed you to discover an extraordinary man ! I send you big kisses ! ♥
