          I was looking for a body scrub that doesn't dry out the skin nor irritate it.

          I turned toward the Fondant Body Scrub from the brand Nuxe Body, attracted by the combination of a « rich cream » and of « plants-based exfoliants ».

          So, how do I put it ? Well, first, about the texture, it indeed is a velvety cream, in which are really small pieces of petals and other fruits' peel.

          The good part with this type of scrub is that, even if the exfoliants will take off the dead cells, the cream will moisturize and soften at the same time, which will help to lessen the agression of the scrub on the skin.

          This being said, I haven't been really impressed by the result of the scrub. Even if the cream leaves the skin very soft, I don't really feel that my dead cells are all gone ... I don't see an obvious difference between the before and the after. It's as if the sensation of softness was more due to the cream than to the fact that the skin has been scrubbed.

          I also need to talk to you about the scent ... It's very perturbating because it's definitely not the kind of scent that you expect to smell while using a scrub with Orange Blossom and Almond Blossom petals ... In fact, the scrub smells, but like 100%, modeling clay. Yes, yes. The Play-Doh (or Plasticine for you maybe ?), that's it. EXACTLY it. It's quite weird, I have to admit. But then again, I'm not really bothered by it - it makes me more nostalgic than anything else since I used to play with the Play-Doh clays as a kid - but if it's a scent that you don't like : skip it, because it smells quite strongly. However, don't worry, the scent won't stay on your skin : you won't transform into a giant modeling clay, promised !

          In the end, I'd say that, if you're looking for a very light scrub, one that won't irritate your skin, it can be good, but if you still expect for the scrub to take off in an obvious way the dead cells, then it might not be strong enough for your taste.
