I know some people who didn't really get the chance to enrich their knowledge, but who are so intelligent in the way they think, the way they consider things, people, life. And on the opposite, I know people who made long studies, very cultivated, who can quote the greatest, but who are so slow in their way of living and thinking. And that, is a field where all the knowledge of the world can't save you.

Because we can sometimes be our own brake, we need to learn to accept to challenge ourself and to choose to pursue our own happiness.

Obviousness may be blinding and make us unable to see the reality of things. Sometimes we need to make the difference between what appears to be and what actually is, and to see, it is sometimes actually needed to stop looking.

It's something I saw getting confirmed through years. It seems that often, some people can not tolerate, stand that someone is dedicating her/himself to something . That this thing owns a very important value in their eyes, that it is something important and that they give a lot of their time for it.

It's a reaction that I don't get but that seems very frequent. Sadly.

This being said, I think they just need to find theirs to get it. Maybe they feel like we stop caring about them because of it ? I don't know. But it would be great if people could find their passion really early. We would understand each other so much better.

I think that we need to keep that in mind. Obviousness can often blind us and we end up forgetting to scratch the surface.

Through difficult times, we have to remember the good ones, and think that others are awaiting for us.

After all, if we're cold, it's indeed because we know what warmth is. Consequently, we can believe in it. We felt it, we will be able to feel it again.

I swear by this kind of thinking. It helps me through hard times and makes me enjoy the tiniest good ones to the fullest. That's what happiness is all about. You can not experience it, love it, feel it, if you did not get hurt, scared, mad, deceived etc. It makes you also grateful for all the good you get in life. It's bittersweet, but I believe sweeter than bitter. :)

And it's true that it takes quite some courage ! We need to believe in ourself and hang on. It's better to have tried than never knowing if we could have done it !

We are all meant to make mistakes - it's normal, we are imperfect beings. And sometimes, we think that the mistake is irreparable, and that no matter what we are going to do, we will never be able to correct what was done, or compensate it. Even so, acting in a good way, is never something wasted. It is never useless or vain.

Acting well won't erase the past mistakes. But it will prevent those of tomorrow. And that, nobody will ever be able to hold it against you. Most of all, not yourself.
